22?.... Your COMPLAINING about being 22?
Happy b'day Anand, now quit whining because you are still a baby... get back to me when you hit 30 & I'll have a little sympathy, until then just
    knock it off!!!! :-P

22 is an odd one. I remember, probably one of my worst birthdays(glad yours was better :)). It was such a dredfull feeling to not be 21 anymore, which you almost spend your whole adolescence looking forward to. It's such a pinnacle, and with plenty of birthdays leading up to 21 offering perks, post 21 seems to be a long drawn out path of... getting older. All I've got to look forward to now is my senior citizen's discount. DOH! :(

22? Oh crap! That's the worst year ever!! If I had to be 22 again I think I'd jump from a bridge with a noose around my neck and a bundle of lit TNT strapped to my waste!!! I hope you survive that god awful age. ;)

Happy birthday man! I do have to say though, you're way too young to be feeling old and having midlife crisis type of fellings. You're not even close to 30 yet. Take it from a soon to be 26 year old who's been in your shoes,..... relax. I felt the same way a few years back, and it olny gets worse. It's best that you don't worry about it and just have a good time. Any ways, you're lucky to have a good girl like that. If there's anything worse than feeling old, it's feeling old and alone. :) Relax and enjoy life. You seem to be doing well, so you have nothing to worry about.

#9: Anand gets tons of email and if he was to reply them, reply to topics in forums, and in this blog, I think Anand would sit infront of the computer all day and would get nothing done. :-)

He is also not going to give out the budget because that would give us a hint on his yearly revenue. I am sure all his editors are paid to do the work and they are living off of AT as well.

Happy birthday, belated as it may be :)

I'm thrilled that Anandtech has daily (More than daily sometimes!) articles up these days. I haven't been following the site since it's Geocities roots, but I've been following it for years, and I can say that it was only a few months ago that articles were few and far between. It's refreshing to see new content every time I do my daily visit to the site.

I've always been curious about Anandtech's organizational structure. You don't seem to normally reply to comments, Anand, but do you think you could give some indication about what goes in inside Anandtech? Are there any other people living off working for Anandtech, or is it just you? What kind of yearly budget do you guys have as a site? Maybe a "Behind the scenes" or "Anandtech Exposed" article would be nice, but I'd be glad for just a reply :)

    From MacRumors
With Safari 2.0 coming with Tiger in 2005, Apple is still working on improvements in the current version of Safari. Safari 1.3 (v146) was seeded to developers today and offers several under the hood improvments.

Reports indicate primarily that speed has improved noticeably, with several CSS rendering fixes. The most notable improvement appears to be in Safari's Javascript engine.

One users' BenchJS score went from 113 seconds to 16.29 seconds from Safari 1.2.2 to 1.3 (screenshot). Meanwhile Firebox .9 scored 49.0 seconds on the same test/hardware config (1GHz PowerBook).

Watched the video of Apple's WWDC, if they can really get out Tiger OSX by 1st half of 2005, it will rock. Now I understand the big banners that Apple put up that say: Redmond, we got a problem. Start your photocopiers. http://stream.apple.akadns.net/

Introduced 30 inch displays. If you run two side by side 8 mill pixels. Special Nvida graphics card requried. Available in August.
